I love this thing. Makes photography much easier! No need to try to touch the screen to take a picture or even say cheese! Just open the camera, press the button on the remote control for 3 seconds and it's on. In fact, it turns on before I even open the camera! This makes taking photos and videos much faster and easier. You can even slip this thing in your pocket and take photos with it discreetly. This particular one is a great remote control. Feel free to hold the button to turn it on with auto power off. Costs money! So spend a few dollars more to get it. Easy to connect and quick to shoot.
