Review on Organize Your Closet with Evelots Wire Shelf Dividers - Set of 8 White Wardrobe Organizers, Space Saving Solution by Janet Nelson

Great idea though. Best in Shelves, Shelves & Drawers

When we got new sturdy shelves for our closets a few years ago, we also bought acrylic shelf dividers. We really liked them, but they didn't go that well with the wire shelves. When we saw these dividers designed specifically for wire shelving, we had to try them. This new design is a great idea for wire shelving, but we found three problems: 1. These dividers are 12 inches deep. If your shelves are exactly 12 inches deep, there may be a bottleneck between the back support and the wall unit. I was able to solve this problem by slightly bending some of the mismatched delimiters, but this resulted in problem number 2.2. At a slight bend to fit the divider into the shelf, one of the hooks spot welded to the main frame broke. Since this only happened to one hook, I suspect it was weak or inadequate spot welding. However, I was able to use this divider by placing the side without the hook against the wall unit and connecting that side to the wire shelf. worked fine Used wires with white coating so you don't even notice the repair.3. I'm guessing the "new design" is how the dividers attach to the shelves. The main wire frame of the divider sits on top of the shelf wire rods that are perpendicular to the cabinet wall. There are four wire hooks on the divider, two on each side, that slide down through the shelf and hook onto the main horizontal shelf bar parallel to the wall unit (a little hard to describe but hopefully you get the picture). However, some of the hooks were not deep enough to hook onto the horizontal bar. But again, a slight bend in the hooks made it possible to attach it to a horizontal bar. We are basically satisfied with the separators. This is a great way to better organize a shelf in a closet and I think if the manufacturer made some changes to the design for durability (better spot welding) and adjustability (tolerance for different sized wire shelves) it would be perfect.
