Waterproof mascara is different from other mascaras. they tend to chip and are difficult to remove with soap and water. However, this is a really great mascara that doesn't flake off all day. It fits perfectly, doesn't wrinkle at all. I use makeup remover wipes to remove it, just hold the wipe gently and rub in very gently (if you rub hard your lashes will fall out no matter what mascara you use). on well, or lump like crazy. The maker of this brush seems to have figured out how to make one that doesn't. All in all I would buy again
