Review on Ritche Leather Compatible Weekender BN0150 28E by Sheryl Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very nice and comfortable bracelet. Complements my Fossil Sport perfectly!

Updated Review: I ended up sending this strip back because after only two wettings the black leather color started to wash out and fade. I used a very soft white bath towel to dry it off and most of that black color has transferred to the towel. thin, dry skin structure). So be aware - you have to be very careful not to scratch this strip or you will ruin it very quickly. I ordered a second strip of the same model and was very shocked to see that the second strip I received wasn't as black as the first one I reviewed here. I ended up sending both of them back. That being said, I spent many days researching, purchasing, and testing a variety of all-black ones; both leather and silicone straps here at Revain for my Fossil Sport and Skagen Falster 2. I ended up going for a $7 black 20mm silicone quick release strap and am much happier because it worked in both hours looks great. So. If you can't get wet on this black leather strap and can endure the very delicate nature of its very thin layer of dyed leather that is naturally glued to leather, then by all means try your luck with it. Original, Day 1 review: I'll tell you that I'm a very perceptive person and I'm not easily impressed by many products, but in my personal opinion, this group pretty much fits my wants and needs. In all areas. This is exactly what I was looking for. All black with black stitching. Check - Black buckle (although I wish it was matte black). Check: - Non-converging band. Check.- Rectangular tip. Checked. Matches the matte black portion of my Fossil Sport's nylon body pins (where you attach the strap ends). Check. Keep in mind that there will be a break-in period to ensure this bracelet fits your wrist perfectly. In the beginning it is too hard / hard. I ran my entire watch/band under lukewarm tap water for about a minute to hopefully soften the band a bit and without taking the watch off my wrist I just gently stroked it. blot it with a clean towel and let it dry on my wrist. I believe this helped speed up break-in time. Now it feels a little better on the skin. There are seams on the inside of the strap (that touches the skin), but even if you wear it very tight, it won't leave a mark on your skin. I can't confirm the durability of this particular bracelet at this time, but I would definitely recommend this bracelet to anyone looking to purchase a nice leather bracelet.
