Basically a good camera. For my needs (reportage shooting of mass events), it came up better than a DSLR, because it has a large aperture and therefore less noise by a whole stop! Especially since it fits in your pocket. But it would be better to take the g7 mark II (the lens is faster and more fr) and would gladly change to it. Of course, with fast lenses and portrait shooting, a DSLR outperforms it, but compared to a kit lens, this camera is superior to a DSLR, only the flash is weaker. By the way, this camera can be a good addition to a DSLR equipped with a high-aperture portrait lens. That is, you do not need to rearrange the lenses for shooting at a wide angle. And he just took this compact out of his pocket and took it off. And you don’t need to drag heaps of optics. The issue with the flash is also solved if there is an external one that works on the pre-flash. From China, this can be ordered for 2022 - 3000. It is quite possible to shoot a reportage video or clips or even a film, but the event will not be suitable for continuous shooting. On the SLR, you can shoot for hours.
- Everything will be in comparison with the Canon 650D DSLR. There are both cameras. 1. Matrix 1 inch with back light! 2. In comparison with a DSLR (650d), it is only one stop behind in noise (do not confuse a step), that is, ISO800 makes noise like ISO1600 for a DSLR. Compared on different ISO. But the matrix is 2.8 times smaller! 3. The aperture ratio at a wide angle is f2, while the DSLR (with a whale) has f3.5, that is, the compact is two stops lighter. So, where you put ISO800 on a SLR (with a whale), ISO200 is enough here (checked) ! That is, under equal conditions, there will be less noise on the compact. 4. Great video! Much less noise than a DSLR with a whale. 5. There is RAV. 6. Excellent white balance. That is, white is white, not yellow or yellowish. 7. There are many settings.
- 1. The video does not take long. At 50r only 10 min. At 25r I recorded 25 minutes. But the manufacturer claims from 29 minutes! Changed memory cards. 2. Working aperture up to f4, sharpness drops more. f5,6 is already worse. 3. On the body position f4,9, which means that sharpness is already falling and a large depth of field, that is, the background almost does not blur. 4. Zoom only 3x. 5. On the machine, it tends to lift the ISO. I had to limit it to ISO800 (acceptable) or set it manually. 6. Chamber Jeep gives distortion. It's better to shoot in RAW. I advise you to turn off all electronic improvers, they only spoil and then it is difficult to pull out. 7. Does not focus well in the body position in dim lighting. 8. Video sometimes loses focus. 9. Weak flash and strong yellow. 10. Expensive batteries. Thankfully there is China. 12. Does not charge directly from microusb and power banks.
