Broken carabiners and peeling paint everywhere

I did a lot of research to find the perfect modern fruit basket to free up counter space. I saw this and fell in love immediately. Everything was excellent according to the reviews, so I'm shocked! It came quickly, it was well packaged but then I pulled it out... the paint was already peeling off the baskets and carabiners and 3 carabiner loops were broken. I hung it up, closing the carabiner loops to see if I could just manage it, but I can't stop looking at the silver where the paint has chipped. I am disappointed and sad that I have to return it. Maybe I just got a bug?
