I bought this scale when I needed a new scale after being happy with Omron's body fat reader. not very accurate. I have 2 other Omron devices and this one always gives significantly higher readings. I'm also trained in fitness and nutrition, so I know I'm not the only one who isn't happy with what I'm told. They are even different from the other two Omron products I own! The scale is also a bit tricky to set up, as you have to do it with a minimal LCD on the scale with weird symbols and limited buttons. My other BIG problem with this scale is that it's not easy to tell when it's calibrated (zeroed)! If, like me, you pull the scale out from under the cabinet to use it, you'll need to calibrate the scale before each use. Most other scales do this by letting you know in some way, but this one won't do it for you. You must step on the scale as a guest to prevent it from storing incorrect readings, wait for it to reach 0, and then re-weigh in your profile using the correct reading. Too many steps to make sure you get the right weight. Pros: It looks good and is much better quality than most Revain scales under $40. Hope Omron gets it right next time!
