Their latest and greatest headset is literally all legacy hardware. Here are all the questions and complaints I have: 1. The controllers that come with this 1.0 IE are not compatible with 2.0 base stations. This honestly annoys me a lot because I just bought 2.0 base stations because I put everything in my living room to find that they are not compatible. The sound quality in the headphones is very tinny and is completely overshadowed by the index.3 valve. I also had to literally close the earbuds because they kept coming off. My playing surface keeps tipping, although this can be fixed with a little extra work and more google searching, I don't think I had to do this initially. 5. They seriously need to redesign their controllers, they are very cumbersome and clumsy and are literally only good for beatsabers.6. The headset feels too loose even when tightened. Now that all said, I have a few positives: 1. Once I figured out how to position the headset properly I would say it's the most comfortable headset I've ever had.2. I really like the rubber pad they have as I usually do physically active things that make me sweat so the rubber doesn't absorb moisture and get rough. I can quickly erase it and move on. Even though it's made of rubber, it's still very comfortable for me.3. The image quality is comparable to valve index 4. You can use wireless, which ultimately prevents me from returning it.
