put 2 loops on loop; 3 tabs opposite!

I'm watching the top review about the lid not opening and I understand what happened. Directions should be easier. Make sure the top half of the case (lid) is snapped into place so that the edge closest to the hinge only has TWO tabs. THREE tabs slide up (along the top edge of the screen when the lid is open). Once you've done that, there shouldn't be any problems if the top doesn't fully open. Now for the rest of the review. I bought several MacBook Pro cases. and invariably hard cases will fall apart on their own. Parts will literally snap off or snap in the middle for no other reason than poor assembly. Judging by the reviews, this one doesn't belong in that category. If it was up to me, I would have preferred a case with softer silicone around the edges like many phone cases do. But that's almost never the case with computer cases, and I suspect there's a technical issue with durability when cases get this big. However. This case *has* a rubbery feel to the corners, which is vaguely nice. I feel like if something falls on it or it falls off my lap onto the floor, the computer has a better chance of surviving than without a case. You're falling from a greater height than here, and I suspect you're on your own. The smoky gray color is nice too and for me with the 2015 15 inch model I can easily get this cool 2020 look without buying a 2020. Automobile! Ha. I bought the case for the wrong reason. So. In short, the case is inexpensive (less expensive than those that are easier to break). It's a bit heavier than I'd like, but that weight comes from a real case, not just 1/8 inch or less of brittle plastic that will break tomorrow. That's what I need. If I were a sticker it would be nice if I could put them on the body and not the car itself. The case doesn't look as "cool" as a bare car, as does my phone with the case on it I wear, doesn't look that cool. But for me it's not about looking as good as a car; The aim is to at least partially protect the machine. And I will stop there.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
