Review on 🎸 LEKATO 5.8Hz Wireless Guitar System - Wireless Audio Electric Guitar Transmitter Receiver - 4 Channels Transmission Range - High Frequency - Rechargeable Battery by Brandon Henry

I originally bought the older 2.4Ghz version because of the price. After some comparative testing against the cable from one of my basses it turned out that there was a low frequency loss when using 2.4k devices compared to the cable. But I liked the simplicity, so I ordered these 5.8GHz units to see if they had a low-loss issue. You sounded great! The sound was crystal clear with no noticeable lag or loss at low frequencies. I've used them 2 times for home practice and then 1 time with a group, fully charging them between each use. The battery life was long enough to easily get through any session. Unfortunately, the fourth time I tried it, the signal going to the mixer was very weak and VERY distorted. I tried each of the 4 channel ranges, different mixers, basses and locations and the result was still low output and high distortion. I made sure the devices were fully charged. Switching to the same basses/faders with a cable resulted in a clean load signal, confirming (at least for me) that the problem was somewhere with the Lekato units. Looking at the reviews I see that some others have similar questions. I hope it was just a defective set. I installed a new set today (thanks Revain) and will report here how the new units perform over time.
