I struggled with this game camera for four weeks before calling Revain for a refund or replacement. The main problem is that even with the lowest sensitivity setting and peripheral detectors disabled, this camera takes a picture of the wind every two to ten seconds. A tiny speck of dust or a leaf moving hundreds of feet above the ground activates the camera. I've tried placing the camera in different places and setting it at different angles, but the problem keeps recurring. I've removed any herbs, leaves, or other shrubs that may have caused the false alarm, but the problem persists. It is impossible to control every speck of dust or distant leaf that can trigger this camera. As a result, this camera drains the batteries in just 24 hours of use. And the SD card is full of photos of nothing. I'm so sad. Update: December 23, 2020: I called Revain and they sent me a replacement. The replacement device had a slightly different camouflage color and a different but improved strap. I set the settings the same on both devices with the sensitivity setting set to "Low". I had them both photographed at night for three days. In three nights, the old camera took 7,371 shots, basically nothing. The new device took 0 photos. At this point I have discarded the old device and will send it to Revane for her cents. I set the sensitivity of the new device to "High" and after three nights the new device took 265 photos, including three photos of a coyote and two whitetails. About 25 of the photos actually contained animals, while the rest of the photos contained nothing. But we had a terrible hurricane last night, which probably doesn't explain the hundreds of photos, especially when the sensitivity is set to High. My next step is to prune a few branches and set the device's sensitivity setting to "Low". The batteries in the new device don't run out as quickly because it takes fewer photos. Conclusion: This company has poor quality control. You may or may not get a device that works. You play by ordering one of them.
