Review on Kantek SVL18.5W Secure-View Blackout Privacy Filter for 18.5-Inch Widescreen Monitors (16:9 Aspect Ratio) - Anti-Glare & Anti-Blue Light by Hurst Batiste

I bought a 23 inch privacy filter for work. I work as a receptionist at a car dealership and my desk is "outside". Obviously the point is to dim the screen, but since the monitor is so big the sides start to "black out" and I have to turn my head to see anything clearly on the sides of the screen. I'm glad I ordered this brand with a 60 degree elbow instead of the 3M offered by 3M for this reason. My only complaint is how the filter attaches to the screen. It is attached with 4 pieces of double-sided tape about 1 1 long /2 and is already attached to the screen. I didn't know about it when I originally took it out of the box, but when I found out I tried my best not to touch the tape, dust and the like on the tape, which is good to see on the screen. In general, it does what it should be. You can't see the screen at all from the side (as pictured), which is what I wanted. ogize photos sideways. They don't appear on my computer.
