I have nothing but praise for this product at this price. It's elegant, the build quality is great, it feels good in the hand (more in small hands, less in normal/big hands). The LED lighting scheme is beautiful and elegant. I did NOT use it in 2.4 mode to be clear and sincere. I bought it to use BT (Bluetooth) with a Chromebook. Having failed with a Chromebook (details later), I made sure it worked fine with Mac/Windows 10 (at least my Surfacebook). PROBLEM - Works great after pairing with Chromebook. BUT after waking Chromebook from sleep or turning it on after shutdown, the mouse won't connect no matter what order you try (turn mouse off, turn on after Chromebook turns on, or leave mouse on, etc. - I've tried everything ) - THE ONLY thing that works is removing the mouse and adding it back (pairing from scratch). I've tested Pixelbook and Samsung Chromebooks, both are top notch (good Bluetooth chipset) - so I assure you it's no coincidence - it doesn't work with a Chromebook and maybe the problem is at the Chromebook end or in the mouse" ( Can't tell because maybe the mouse protocol implementation is wrong, but the Chromebook's firmware is less forgiving and implemented to the letter of the spec - this can happen too) Unfortunately, the result has to be returned because the Chromebook was my target device. If you don't use a Chromebook - highly recommend - best deal for the price.
