Review on πŸͺ‘ ACME Furniture Levant's Side Chair: Elegant Cream and Distressed Weathered Oak Design by Nicole Fisher

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Terrible construction, broken parts and wobbly chairs

advantages: You get twice as many chairs as expected! A box comes with two chairs. I ordered six. There were six boxes. There are twelve chairs in total. The bad: I've collected a lot of furniture in my life. It has never been as difficult as with this chair. 1) One of the chair sets arrived without adequate fittings. I had to buy a replacement at the hardware store. Counting doesn't seem to be this company's forte. 2) The legs are made in such a way that you have to force them in place. I'm shocked I didn't break anyone. Make sure you have a rubber mallet and eat your wheaties! 3) A screw hole is not fully drilled on a chair. When screwing, the leg is simply split in half (see illustration). 4) Because the legs need to be attached, adjustment after connection is not possible. You will almost certainly get stuck on chairs that wobble. 5) Because you get double the number of chairs, you have to return them awkwardly. I would happily pay a lot more to not have to deal with it. It's just not a good product. Take your money elsewhere.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
