For us they worked better than LEDs. We have lightbulbs above the kitchen cabinets and they are connected to dimmer switches. Some LED bulbs do not work well with dimmers and flicker excessively. These are incandescent lamps whose brightness can be adjusted with a commercially available dimmer. One photo shows a short length of wire from the connector to the headlights, while the other just shows the daylight effect. They are not too bright at night and give a nice glow.
