This support seat is built to last and does what it says on the tin. My ass gets a little warm in them, but it's summer and I like to run warm. I'm not sure anything more breathable (and it already has vents) will hold up, so it's an understandable compromise. This support really helps me to stay in a really good sitting position quite comfortably, which was important to avoid putting extra stress on my sacroiliac joint. The only thing I could change is the width, for us with big buttocks, because in front, under my hips, the curve cuts into my lower leg a little on the left and right with the current width. That's the only thing makes this product a little less comfortable than it could be. I can handle that slight pressure, but I think there are others who can't, especially when sitting for a long time. It helps if you can switch to it every now and then; something that would be impossible, for example, in a car seat on a long journey. Anyway, it's not safe. Maybe they're doing a very wide version and I just missed it; I do not know. But right now I'm not so uncomfortable with being able to order a wider one even if I could find it. However, your mileage may vary. I would say that this product has increased the amount of time I can sit without pain or discomfort in my SI joints from less than 30 minutes to over 4 hours (be careful here). It takes a while to get used to where you position it, just like that, before you get the hang of it, but once you do and train your mind/position your back and muscles to have good posture towards it achieve it will be very easy and quite enjoyable, keep doing it and you will feel a noticeable relief.
