While out and about with my camera, I've been trying to find a decent cold-weather kit that would allow me to focus on what I'm doing and not the wind, and be surprisingly comfortable and warm is. The lighting of a high school playoff game at night with temperatures in the mid 30's, the cold wind in the 20's was awful. The only issue I had was a set of gloves (poor circulation to hands) but the set kept my head warm and the neck accessory blocked any gust of wind hitting my neck. I also pulled it up to use as leggings right over my nose and was able to breathe enough to keep shooting as the air wasn't as rough as breathing. My head is one of the larger sizes, I think 8-3/8? but everything fitted well, and I didn't feel like I was suffocating or being crushed from a two-hour night game. They naturally absorb liquid, so don't wear them in cold rain. But I can't express how comfortable it was to wear the set. Don't know about durability - if you need to launder I would consider hand washing with mild soap and line/hang drying. I'm glad there are 3 pairs because I'll be using them when the cold weather comes.
