
These shinguards come with pieces of foam that are glued to the inside of the shinguard, creating a small cushion between the visor and the user's forehead. The glue doesn't last very long. Within three uses, most of the foam pieces began to fall off or fell off completely. We tried alternative methods of reattaching the foam and hot glue was the winner of everything we've used so far. Shields tend to slip easily, which in any case minimizes the protection they can provide. I wouldn't buy them again.
