I am a woman of a certain age and needed a makeup fan. I bought 6 fans to try and this is the one I kept for the following reasons: It's a good compact size for a vanity. It has 3 settings - slow, medium, fast. It can be tilted 360 degrees. It is also good for drying nail polish in the down position. The front is removable for easy cleaning by loosening a small screw. etc. This allowed me to stick it in the wall. It's not too loud - not a whisper, but good enough for the purposes I need it for. It is white and modern in design. This allows you to mount it on the wall or anywhere else. You change the speed by pressing the power button to cycle through it. The only downside is that this button is on the back of the fan but is fairly easy to reach. It was hard to find a small fan with a button on the front. That would be absolutely perfect.
