The material is very thin and soft, just what I wanted. These pants do not restrict, wear well and are very comfortable. They make great dress pants as well as casual wear. I wore them with flats for a more casual look and with heels for a more dressy look. The waist has a drawstring, but I pulled mine out and inserted an elastic. I'm 5ft 9" and these pants are the perfect length to the floor. The material can withstand a few washes in cold water and normal drying. They don't wrinkle, which is why they're my favorite pair of pants for work. , lunch with friends and a night out with my husband.
