Fixed my throttle body issues
I had a terrible P1516 engine code on my 2003 Suburban. Was used to change the throttle body looking for a possible ground issue that does not fix the code. But several forums have suggested that the plug could be the root cause of perpetual engine codes. Insert new connector, use shrink crimp connectors from the automotive sector, done! There was no problem with 16 or 18 gauge aluminum wires on this connector. It took about 15-20 minutes to make 8 connections, cutting and splicing one wire at a time. I completed it by wrapping the new wires in heat resistant tape.
- Fits many 2002-2007 GM trucks and cars. Fits all GM wired drives with an 8 pin connector.
