I will start my review by stating that if you chew aggressively this collar is not for you because of the plastic buckle. Nylon stands up to aggressive chewing, plastic not so much. If that's not your situation then this collar is actually quite affordable and works very well. What I liked was the impressive battery life. We have used and tried so many different training collars, we have our picks from the best to the worst and this one is a little closer to the best end of the spectrum in terms of battery life, locking features and then pretty good vibration strength. We have 3 German/Australian collars and have tried many different collar training methods just trying to find the best fit for our puppies and this would probably be one of the best if it had a metal buckle instead of a plastic buckle. Also, this is definitely one of the best buckles we've tried and if we had the option to choose which buckle to use during the ordering process I would buy it again if needed.
