Beautiful blanket. I had to take a nap right away because it's so soft. I am planning to buy a second one for my room as I have a peach beige for my daughter's room. I would call it pale pink but the color is the same as the photo, maybe a little darker. I can't even describe the softness and the inner lining is a very soft velvety fabric in the same shade as the fluffy part. Haven't washed it yet but will try to remember to update this review after I do. The instructions call for washing on a warm cycle on a gentle cycle and air drying flat. I have a large one though, I have a toddler and don't have time to air dry a huge blanket so I use the no heat option on the dryer, fingers crossed. If all goes well this will be a blanket that will cost a lot more than the $40 I paid for it. However, it looks like a $100 blanket, and no doubt it would if bought at a stone store. Basically everything went well, the corners started to get tangled and the faux fur itself feels different and so it is clear that after several washes, even lying on a flat surface to dry, it will not be so pleasant to the touch . I have ordered a second one and will try to wash it in cold water rather than warm water and line dry it as little as possible. I hope this will extend the life of the faux fur. This blanket is really worth the effort and if you manage not to wash it too often I think it will last you a long time.
