Review on JBL Professional Reference Bluetooth JBL104 BT WH by Jacob Schmidt

First of all, please understand that I am NOT an audio professional and have no idea what I am talking about. I understand that these are primarily monitors and I find them to do their job very well. The audio is loud, very clear and I was very pleased that I could hear clearly. However, I wanted to be able to hear music like on standard speakers. I have a pair of cheap Altec Lansing computer speakers which, while not as clear, are capable of producing bass with some punch. These JBLs have much larger and heavier drivers so I expected to be able to use them for this purpose. Unfortunately, I couldn't get anything out of them no matter what input or audio source I used. Again, if you are looking for monitors with very clear and good sound, go for them. You will be happy with them. If you need general purpose monitors and speakers for your computer I would look elsewhere.
