Review on Acuvar 50-Inch Aluminum Camera Tripod: Sturdy and Versatile by Jerry Mills

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just awful on camera and photo

The leg that the camera or phone is standing on does not sit flat, the hinge will not allow it. There may be a manufacturing defect in what I received and others may be fine, but it's more of a design flaw. So that the photo/video is not crooked, it must be rotated 90 degrees and then tilted either up or down. Otherwise, the image will be flipped when you wear it as intended. Legs not spread wide enough for stability. Legless legs is generally acceptable, but if you stretch your legs and sneeze near him, you'll knock him over. The included camera holder is so tight that you cannot open it with the small rubber strap. My phone is not very big and I can hardly put it in the holder. I can't imagine putting a bigger phone in this thing. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is very light. But it's also a disadvantage because it doesn't help with poor stability where whatever you attach to it weighs more than it is, making the center of gravity high and stability low.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
