I'm in my 60's and not a techie but my laptop died and I've been looking for a replacement that will remember everything I do at my death disliked notebook. It was bulky and heavy when traveling, the buttons weren't very large and had to be pressed fairly hard, but most of all. I hated the mouse when it was gone. And I don't use the word hate often, but it fits here. How can you balance a laptop on your lap when the mouse you're supposed to be using all the time isn't in the way? I type very quickly; the laptop needs to be centered like the mouse, otherwise it's not a laptop at all; this is a table top. It's incredibly light and thin. The only "missing" feature is the number pad on the right, which is common on many laptops. I happily decline. The buttons are larger than most, making them easy to see and sensitive to the touch. The screen is bright and big enough to watch a movie without straining your eyes. The "setup" was very easy. I took it out of the box, followed a few tips and it worked. The price convinced me. Great value for money, of course. I love him and am traveling with him this week. It will no longer be a cumbersome airport security experience. He is so light! I recommend it to anyone who uses a laptop on a daily basis for reading news, sending emails, downloading documents, etc. It's a fantastic laptop for me, and again, it's half the price of my bifocals. Wow.
