Review on πŸ“± Black Smart Phone Holder with Face Tracking Tripod and Rotable Feature - Intelligent Human Body Tracking Stand for Imaging Devices, Enhanced Stability with Non-Skid Tripod Feet by Jose Cruz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No internal power supply, minor design flaws, no smooth tracking.

Not a bad tracker, but it has a few problems. First, there is no internal power supply, meaning it must be plugged into an outlet or a separate power supply purchased. I find this a major inconvenience, especially if you're shooting off-road and don't have batteries handy. This issue makes the product feel incomplete. Second, it does not track smoothly. There's a slight delay between your movement and his reaction, maybe a second or so. When it sees you move, it follows you in short bursts, adding to the inconsistency in your videos. It only makes a continuous movement when you move quickly from one end to the other, and it registers that it has to rotate quickly from its original position to its final position. Finally, the power input is a mini USB and hidden on the back. device and pointing straight down, meaning your cable is interfering with the tripod mounted underneath. Also, next to the power button on the opposite side of the security cam is an indicator that tells you if it can see you, which I think makes it pretty useless since you can't see it. Follow them carefully enough and the building materials are of good quality. Given all of the above shortcomings, I don't think it justifies the $40 price tag. Therefore I cannot recommend it at this price and give it three stars.
