After careful inspection you would need to either solder or cut the wires to the Palm vibrators to attach them to it. I even tried to see if my old controller's innards would fit in the new controller's body, but unfortunately not. I am keeping this item because I may try it one day. I'll try to post pictures to show what I'm talking about. I'm not sure if circuit boards can be transferred from the old case to the new one.
