Like everyone here, I wanted more from my headlights. The factory halogens you can buy at Walmart didn't work for me, so I started looking for options. I've been looking at LED bulbs on Revain and EBay for a few days and I've been looking at some HID options as well. I was skeptical reading reviews because we all know they can be fake. I ended up saying fuck everything and clicking on these bad boys. Brand name or not, they are all the same and/or very similar after all. They are all made in the same factories. Now that I have reflector headlights I knew there would be glare and I knew it wasn't the best way to go since my headlights weren't designed for that kind of light. Light bulbs. I am in the process of upgrading them to have as little glare as possible. Now we come to the product test. I received these lights in less than two days and was dying to install them. I couldn't wait for the sun to go down and started installing. The first thing I noticed (for myself) was that the rubber O-ring around the LED bulbs was too thick to fit properly in my headlight housing. I ended up removing the thinner o-ring from the factory Sylvania halogen bulbs and placing it on top of the LEDs. This solved the problem and the new LED headlights could be used just as easily as my factory headlights. After sunset I turned them on and holy Moses these lights are BRIGHT. The color was pure white and they appeared immediately. Very impressive. After running for about a minute the small fans kicked on and even with my car completely off and I was standing right in front of my car I could barely hear them running. Calm down, seriously. I took a quick drive to see how they behaved on the road and was even more impressed with the light output. I have a 52 inch LED bar on my car and these headlights make my light bar money. Well, having said that, I also noticed that every approaching car I passed these headlights would illuminate everything in their vehicles, faces and all. That's a problem. As mentioned, I'm fixing this because I don't want to be a nuisance to other motorists. Select HID for high beam. enough difference to make it worth it in my opinion as they are already much brighter than low beam alone. For my high beam I bought a Revain 55w HID kit at retail price as did these bulbs. They are evenly brighter and go with my LED low beam works well. Pros: Insanely bright Fan is very quiet Runs cooler than halogens Runs longer (can't confirm their claim yet) Cons: Not the best option for reflector headlights (obviously) May require OEM o-rings or kerf cuts (just use wire cutters to nails ) Overall I am very happy with these lights and p pic. For $30 I got lights that give off a whiter, brighter light and last longer than halogen lights. For $40 I can get factory halogens that last a year. I will update this review with photos once the sun goes down!
