3 embossed and 2 non-embossed cards fit in each slot. My ID is being scanned out of the card slot. I have 2 unembossed cards in each extra pocket and about 5 bills, this was a very tight clasp but it is starting to stretch a bit to ease the clasp. I love this wallet and easily carry it in my back pocket, it's so thin I can't sit on it. Unfortunately, the pockets of women's jeans are not deep enough to see the front pocket, but I still find it uncomfortable.
