Review on 🎙️ InnoGear Blue Yeti Mic Stand – Heavy Duty Microphone Stand with Windscreen and Dual Layered Pop Filter – Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stands for Blue Spark and other Mics – Size: Medium by Uriel Arocha

I was a little worried about the complaints that the adapter that came with it didn't fit the Blue Yeti, but I just got the InnoGear Heavy Duty Mic Windscreen and Dual Layer Get suspension for pop filter. Scissor arm stand item no. MU047 and adapter go well with my version of the Blue Yeti. Teflon tape is not required. My adapter is painted gold or brass. Maybe it has been updated? Maybe not, as INNOGEAR is aware that this is an issue with some blue yetis. I looked for some sort of date code on the box my mic came in to see if Blue had fixed the thread mismatch in later models, but couldn't find anything that would help other potential buyers. The attached picture shows the included adapter. I've settled in well. Thanks also to the other reviewers who mentioned being careful when tightening knobs and screws as I tend to overdo it when it comes to fastening things. I don't want them to move until I want them to. I adjusted the arm springs to a "stronger" receiving hole on the outrigger arm (very simple, easy to do, see 3rd pic) in case my Yeti later puts stress on the joints. It seemed fine by default in first position, but I went ahead and changed it due to Yeti's weight. Mounting the pop filter doesn't seem to be a problem in my setup as others have mentioned. It's well insulated and has a "notch" to accommodate the square edges of the arm. I have included a picture showing how the filter mount should be positioned when tightening the knob that attaches it to the mount. Also, the foam protector/microphone filter fits my microphone perfectly. It fits nice and snug and I don't foresee this (January 2019) version ever "dropping off" as others have pointed out. I do not dispute the opinions of others about these components included in this pack. I am only reporting the facts that I recently received from INNOGEAR / AMAZON. I find it very valuable and worth what I paid for the package. . Worth 6 stars but today a 5 will do. I see no reason why this wouldn't last as long as I keep looking for decent working solutions for the best shots I can take.
