Artwork for Kitchen and Dining

Elegant! I bought a sushi plate with the same design a year ago and really liked the style. I saw two $40 bowls recently, when I saw this whole set I bought it and it just arrived. It was packed very well. I was worried as I saw some reviews but I got the perfect set. The photos showing the packaging that someone posted is not how it was packaged, it was packaged very well. Maybe someone got the message and changed the packaging. They are cymbals, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if one cracked. They came in separate boxes inside a box with a cardboard gap in between. I posted some pictures of the packaging to see if it differs from what someone else has posted. The set is very cool and the pattern is beautiful. Almost a work of art. As for the uneven shape, I think it's just part of the style. My sushi platters are not uniform, as if each piece is made individually. I'm thinking of buying a second set to keep for parts. I think this set will last me for many, many years! I see that some have struggled in the long run. If I start seeing problems I will edit my review. I noticed that the edges aren't as rustic as my sushi set. They are more glazed which makes it look prettier. It says on the back that it's dishwasher and microwave safe. I am very pleased! The price can't be beat either. Google Kosui's bowls and you'll see what I mean! Good product!
