This is a real workhorse. I use it every day since I work from home. I sit in my chair with him on my lap and have put in about 1200 hours in ten months. I really like the mouse pad and wrist rest, not that I bought it for the wrist rest, but the main benefit of this feature for me is that it keeps my mouse from sliding off the table when I normally hold the table at an angle to me . Thus, the palm rest acts as a mouse rest. If I occasionally use a different lap table, I get annoyed that the mouse slips off and I have to dig it out of the space between the seat cushion and the armrest of the chair. The only downside I've noticed is that after almost a year of very heavy use, the beanbag-like padding underneath is somehow thinning and appears to be around 50% of its original volume (see photo). This means it doesn't glide as well as when it was new, and I'm more likely to feel the wooden underside of the table as I move my feet throughout the day. But for the price and with my heavy usage, I'd happily buy another over any other lap table I've used.
