In fact, they are connected in the opposite direction. I put CF next to it for comparison. The CF instructions say that white = positive and black = negative (clamps on speaker). Because the contact plates are different sizes, you can't just switch without crimping new terminal ends, or insert the contacts and slide the wires around in the connector like I did. listed. Just use a very small pen, I used a T pen that I use to make model airplanes. There is a tab that releases the pin when pushed in the opposite direction when the wire is pulled out. The connector is identical except for the reversed core color. If you swap all 4 speakers and/or connectors, it shouldn't matter which way the speaker pushes, as long as all speakers push in the same direction. As I use 2x CF and 2x these forks I took the time to match them all the same. Hope this helps to understand.
