My old blades/heads were 8 1/2 years old so I decided it was time to replace them. To my amazement the new Norelco replacement heads were much worse than my 8.5 year old heads! I even shaved one side of my face with the old heads and one side with the new heads. Even after 8.5 years of use, my old heads still shaved quite cleanly. The new heads left me with a sandpaper face with very noticeable razor stubble. I tried the new heads for 2 weeks to see if they got better over time. They were just as bad after 2 weeks as the first time I tried them. I'm back in my old mind. I sent new heads back to Revain and received a refund. If this is Norelco's idea of how a new shaving head should work, then this could be my last Norelco razor.
