I can't say enough good things about this keyboard. I love mechanical keyboards because my work requires me to type a lot in 10-12 hour shifts and they relieve hand/finger/wrist fatigue. The fact is, many mechanical keyboards are made for gamers, so they're pretty big, have extra customizable keys, unnecessary lighting effects, and need to be plugged in (cough, my Razer). no compact keyboard has the 10 keys I need. So keychron meets my standards. I didn't know anything about this brand and initially preferred trusted brands like Logitech G series, Razer, Corsair and that, but I'm so glad I trusted this brand. Also, the Keychron is a lot cheaper than the Logitech Lightspeed wireless mechanical keyboard I was eyeing. By the way, it's much cheaper. As I work in an office with shared desks it's convenient to replace the standard keyboard with this as all I need to do is plug in a bluetooth dongle (third party, sold separately as work computers don't have built in bluetooth like most PCs) . laptops/computers) instead of taking up 2 USB ports like my black widow did. I like that I don't have to move everything to put my own keyboard on the table. It's small enough to fit right in my desk drawer at the end of my shift or in my bag if I want to take it home. It looks very sleek and professional, especially without RGB lighting. However, if you want to have fun, you can choose from different lighting schemes and change them very easily: just press a button. No special software is required. Yes, the blue switches are loud. It was exactly the type of switch I wanted and I know the sonic implications of that, so no star deduction. If you don't want a loud, clicking keyboard, avoid the blue switches. If you don't know which switch to choose, I recommend where better to go to buy and test gaming keyboards there. Once you've found a Switch you like, go online and look for a Gateron equivalent. Brown might be good if you want a similar feel but a quieter sound. In any case, before you buy, ask about your mechanical switches. I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't comment on the battery life. but I love that I have the option to use the USB C port. Although I haven't used it on my Mac at home, I love that I have the option to easily use the buttons and controls change to be Mac friendly. I think this is the first mechanical keyboard that works specifically for Mac. I currently use a Logitech G keyboard at home, which works great, but is still a Windows-oriented keyboard. I might buy another one for home use. It may take some time to get used to the size. I found that I dragged too far to the right to use the numeric keypad or skip the Shift key. no big deal. It just takes some time to build muscle memory. Overall A+10/10 highly recommended. In fact, I've already recommended it to others.
