FYI I always wear a chain around my neck and only one chain. It's always the same, meaning I've never altered the necklace to match any of my outfits. Anyway, the one I had with the amulet/pendant but it broke. Too simple for me but I didn't want to replace the whole chain so I decided to buy another one. I was interested in letter charms (like the one on this necklace) and thought I'd buy one with my boyfriend's name first. I browse, I find it and I love it. The font is nice, the reviews are good, it looks pretty. The plan was to get the necklace, remove the pendant and put it on the necklace I already had. But it was impossible; It's impossible to remove without breaking the small circle that connects it to the rest of the necklace. So what have I done? I just replaced my old chain with this one. I hesitated because I've worn the other one for so long, never had any problems, and had no idea what it would look like in a few weeks. However, I bought it almost a month ago and it has held up well to showering, daily wear, etc. No rust or anything like that. I really like how pretty it is and it's not super long or short; It's the perfect length around my neck. I love it and have no plans to take it off any time soon. And in case anyone is wondering, the pendant is no bigger than a US 5 cent nickel coin. It's not huge, but it's not so small that it doesn't make sense to carry it. Perfect.
