Touch ID not working with 4th gen iPad Air

I recently upgraded to a 4th gen iPad Air. I've always liked Logitech cases and I'm not sure I need a new iPad case without the thin Logitech case as it was compact yet worked flawlessly allowing me to type without taking 1/3 of the screen to block with the keyboard. But unfortunately, Logitech didn't make a Slim Folio case for this device, so I tried this and a few others instead. It fits well, has great key action and a nice solid feel. I really liked the patterned gray with a grippy feel as others have mentioned it's heavy but offers good protection. But I like to put it on my knees and surf while watching TV, but it was too big and I just couldn't find a good way to keep it off the table. But. The real disappointment is that the power button is covered with Touch ID and cannot be used. I can't understand how this case works without considering one important feature. I did a little research and some people said that iPad Pro 11 cases sometimes fit the iPad Air 4. So I took a chance and bought a Logitech Slim iPad Pro case and Hallelujah! He comes! It has the same issue with the closed "on" button, but at least it ticks all the other boxes and I no longer regret upgrading my iPad.
