These are super thin caps that I use for two purposes: Firstly as a pad to wear under a cap or hat in the summer to allow some of the sweat to wick away and evaporate before the cap absorbs it it; and the other should be ski helmet liner on warm days in winter when fleece liner is too warm. This works well for me for both. They don't absorb as much sweat as my thicker Enduracool Alligator, but it has a lot more material. I use an alligator when I want to protect my neck from the sun. They are very small and take up no space when folded; Maybe that's why some have disappeared and will show up eventually, but before they disappeared I ordered more for a reserve. I wouldn't force them to keep you warm, but they might help a little by cutting the wind. They do that under the helmet as I can't close the vents.
