Review on Bona Hardwood Floor Spray Cartridge by Liz West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent. The exchange works great.

BEFORE assembly. Make sure there are no broken parts. Once assembled, you're stuck. The trigger was broken. In fact, part of the green handle was missing. So someone tried. Or it broke during testing. I will try to return it. I will not order this update again They were very kind and said they would send me a replacement. (fingers crossed) (Revane said I need to contact the manufacturer.) Update 7-12-2013 - Received a replacement. Yes, exactly the same as the other one except this one was recently made (July). The original was made in January. So this was my second build, so no problem at all. I will say that you need to be sure NOT to pull down on the green slider at the base of the wiper. I did it on my first one and had a hard time lifting it back into place. Now that I remembered, on the second assembly I just made sure it wasn't tight before assembly. I can see the trigger axis is strong. Although it's plastic, it shouldn't break. This is where my first mop broke. To use the mop, you need to gently pull the trigger. not much power at all. So, back to the first one, no doubt it just slipped through quality control by accident. I wasn't particularly happy that I was dealing with the manufacturer and not Revain. But everything worked out and I am completely satisfied. Excellent customer service. The mop works fine. As I said, the trigger pressure is very light, so I don't expect any problems in the future. The reusable pad is great - Velcro attaches it to the mop. and you can just throw it in the washing machine to clean it. Plus, the cleaning cartridge is refillable, so just flip it over, unscrew the cap, and refill. Funny, I swear I saw a review from someone who mentioned making a hole at the top for refilling and using a cork! Now he gets 5 stars! Update 5-11-2014: It still works fine. Some usage information. When you pull the trigger and the solution spills out, a vacuum is created in the bottle. The more you use it, the stronger the vacuum gets and it doesn't spray as well as it did when you started your cleaning session. The solution is to simply break the vacuum. Take out the dispenser - turn it over and put it back - snap it back. and you are the golden trigger for the release of the solution. No, don't do that, just empty the bottle as above. Enjoy
