Price doesn't always mean quality.
I bought these to replace a pair of $100 headphones that only lasted me 8 freaking months. I even tried slipping those $100 headphones into a bag every time I was done with them. These headphones last longer. I think they're running out now, but for $10 you can't beat how good they sound.
