Quality Product & Improved Strap Weight

Car seats have come a LONG way since I was a new mom. I was impressed by the Maxi Cosi child seat, and the Pria convertible seat is also a class better. I LOVE harnesses that are slightly "pulled forward" or elevated with cushions on the harnesses and it definitely makes it easier for your little one to sit in the seat and fasten the harnesses. The straps will likely flatten out with wear, but the little cream oval strap helps too. See photo for understanding. When I bought it I thought they were magnetic; however, they simply allow the adult to pick up and "catch" the strap for the next entry. The male end of the metal buckle can be tucked above or below the 'latch', but re-entry will be easier if you remember to catch the buckle instead of fishing it out from behind baby. Pushing down on the female end of the buckle also makes it more accessible when you put your baby back in the seat. If not, like all the other seats I've used, fish between the kid's legs. Finally, my grandson is tall and thin, so the easier height adjustment is a bonus. Good luck trying to adapt to child safety! This was bought for a grandson and happily installed with mum's help because we really needed to re-line the harnesses for a 20 month old compared to a rear facing infant.
