First, it's a port replicator, not a docking station. It promises easy docking with just one USB 3.0 port and an integrated power connector. Unfortunately, the reality of this docking station just doesn't live up to expectations. Mouse or to make work of any kind a common routine. You won't realize the importance of smooth input until your mouse constantly micro-freezes the screen, turning it into some sort of high-speed slideshow. Other times, the video stream simply freezes for a second or two. I have reinstalled the drivers for this device several times in unsuccessful attempts to make it work better; I even reinstalled windows from scratch which had no effect. This device should not be used in a business environment where speed and efficiency equal money. Do yourself a favor and research docking stations before you buy a laptop. You should buy a business laptop from a manufacturer that offers built-in dock functionality. It will be a laptop similar to the Dell E series. The manufacturer's docking station plugs into an entirely different integrated port on the bottom and doesn't require any special drivers to function. Won't be buying it again and will only use true dock compatible laptops in the future.
