Review on Westcott 4633 7 Feet Parabolic Umbrella by Matthew Evans

This light modifier creates beautiful and properly exposed head-to-toe lighting with really flattering soft shadows. I highly recommend buying a diffuser to get nice non-specular highlights as well as soft shadows. You need a flash and use it without a bulb so the light hits all 7 feet of the umbrella or if you use a flash you need at least 3 flashes so you can use the entire umbrella. Otherwise, this is equivalent to using a 40 inch umbrella. since the light would only enter and be reflected from the center. There are many situations where this umbrella can come in handy and can also be used as an umbrella to protect you from the bright midday sun.
