I wrote carefully about my first order of a '100% Mulberry' scarf and upon testing it was unlikely to be 100% silk; However — and this is a big but — the design and feel of this summer scarf is — to me — worth more than what I paid for it as a boutique piece, whether luxury or faux luxury. The new scarf has to be 100% wool, maybe acrylic, I don't care - I'm a Dang Xu convert! You deserve a compliment with this ultra-soft fall scarf; Generous in size and vibrant in color, the design stands out more than online with its whimsical shapes and forms, it's late modern to postmodern watercolors (for those unfamiliar with these modifiers, think Swedish and some of the whimsical designs , which you saw on the bed linen at IKEA). Although this is a lightweight fall scarf, it's just as comfortable for late summer nights and chilly summer mornings as we head into fall. The colors appear to be more summery: bright orange and splashes of yellow alongside the poolside watercolors, but the scarf itself is a rich cream color with hints of peach and sepia. However, I plan to wear it in contrast to a solid color outfit like olive green, black or mustard. With a design this bold, it's best to make it the center of attention and not mix up your look with too many other design elements or patterns.
