You can't compare them to AirPods since the price difference is like that between a Zhiguli and a Mercedes—both cars get you from point A to point B, but the Mercedes has a lot more bells and whistles. Now, the headphones: - stunningly designed exterior. Those who say it's constructed of low-quality and cheap plastic are being dishonest because it feels great in your hands. Put these on and forget you're even wearing them; the headphones are so comfortable in the ears and have such a wonderful feel to the touch. Passive noise cancellation means you can listen to the subway without cranking up the volume. It takes some time to get used to the controls (touch surfaces), as they are not particularly pleasant when placed in the ear (you need to push the touchpad multiple times). They pair easily with my iPhone and my Android, the battery life indicator lights up, and I did not detect a significant lag in the audio. -effective range: linked with an iPhone 6s and walked nine meters through a wall and a door into a different room, where the connection remained strong. - the sound quality isn't great for a music enthusiast like me; it lacked bass, the midrange wasn't all that prominent, and it cracked when played at high volumes.
