Since the only room in my apartment with a door is my small bedroom, I spent my meetings in bed with my laptop on my lap. It's a bit embarrassing to have to move the computer/camera every time you correct your posture. So I decided on a desk that could hold my laptop steady and keep my wrists from hurting. This tabletop tray does just that, even holding my can of pop in its cold container (as pictured). I have a small 13 inch laptop but when it's on the top half of my desk I can rest my hands on the table for more comfortable typing. I can even sit cross-legged under it, and I'm a tall man. The drawer is also probably handy for easy access to the handle, although if I set it up overnight when the drawer is lowered it opens on its own. Another feature I wanted was legs that would not fold. Stand in place when you open them so unlike the old wooden tray table we had I feel more secure one side doesn't suddenly fall off. I had to return the first one because it was damaged in transit, but I'm definitely going to keep this one!
