I only wear eye makeup and so this was perfect to help prevent me tugging at my eyes when taking off makeup. My method is dampening the cloth with warm water, ringing it out, placing it over my eye [one at a time], holding for about 10 seconds, and then in one swipe it all comes off. However, if the whole cloth gets wet and you hang it up to dry after rinsing it the softness goes away as does the ability to use the rest of the cloth for other days when it dries.For me, this severely impacted the way I use this because I had to scrub my eye make up off afterwards. I think My solution will be to cut it up into smaller squares so the entire wash cloth doesn't "go to waste" after 1 use.
