I have an 18 Tacoma Sport with a trunk lid. These lamps provide enough light to see the inside of the bed when the lid is closed. Google the instructions, they help a lot with connecting to the factory wiring harness. I love that I can activate the light by doing any of the following: unlock the door with the remote, open the door, or turn on the light switch on the dashboard. The installation took a little over an hour. They should be standard on tilt trucks.
