Update: It's been a few months since I've used this product regularly and I was appalled and surprised at how blotchy it was on my skin this time! My face got a little red, but luckily it went away within an hour or two. I changed my daily lotion routine so I guess it has made my skin more sensitive and prone to the reaction I was experiencing with this product. I will no longer use it. I love Biore products and was excited to try their Activated Charcoal Acne Peel. My skin isn't overly sensitive and I'm not prone to acne, but I love a good exfoliator to help my skin stay smooth. This product fits well, smells amazing and left a slight tingling sensation on my skin. Several other authors have mentioned that their skin felt like it was on fire when using this product, but I have not experienced anything like this. There seems to be a small amount of menthol in this product which gives a slight cooling sensation which I like. The first few times I used this product I got pimples - nothing bad just a pimple both times. Since then I do not have problems anymore. I really think it had to do with that dirt-pulling scrub. I swear the blackheads on my nose are more noticeable right after using this product making it the perfect time to use the pore strip.
